This butter bell is finished with a unglazed ombre top with yellow, orange and red and the quintessential amanita's white spots in matte white (left overs from their universal veil, a membrane that encloses the entire mushroom when it is still very young)
The unique design of the French Butter Dish keeps butter at the perfect spreading consistency. When 1/4 inch water is placed in bottom it creates an airtight seal that keeps oxygen away from the butter (oxygen is what turns butter rancid). In the bell shaped lid your butter will stay soft and fresh!
Dimensions are: 3.5" tall x 5" wide. Can hold approximately 2 sticks or half a pound of butter.
